BEST EVER EXAM RESULTS!

Etone College in Nuneaton has achieved its highest ever GCSE Results. The college which has seen GCSE results zoom forward over the past 8 years has achieved the highest ever in its history. 75% of students achieved 5+ GCSEs at grade C. Students achieving 5+ GCSE grade C and above including English and Maths was a staggering 59%!The college is expecting these figures to rise, as some results have not yet come into the College as this release was written.




Peter Kingham, Headteacher was ecstatic about these results. 'These are our best ever results and we have worked tirelessly over the last year putting lots of new initiatives in place to support students and help them. This is a team effort by students, our excellent staff, governors and the support of parents. I am probably one of the happiest Headteachers in the UK today! I congratulate each individual on their results which is their personal achievement'




Mr Kingham went on to say: 'These results show how foolish it would be to move ahead with the Local Authority ideas to merge Etone with another school. We want to expand the number of places we have where we are and give young people in Nuneaton the opportunity to have high quality education. Over the summer we have had a feasibility study of expanding on our current site carried out and the results of that will show how we can easily build and expand here. In addition we want to add a Post 16 Centre and provide a variety of courses for students to carry on their education in an outstanding place of education!'
