The science vision is to continue moving towards excellence giving all students opportunity to achieve their personal best in a safe stimulating learning environment.

Our results this year were 65% A - C and 98% A - G, showing we care for pupils across the ability range in Science and they achieve.  Our main aim is to develop independence and confidence.  The subject area has a great challenge to students following this year.  I have no doubt that they will rise to this challenge and continue to amaze and impress.

As Etone has a technology specialism all labs have We-Learn interactive equipment.  Students will become experienced at collecting data and analysing it via advanced sensor boxes and computer software.  All labs have been completely refurbished and are of the highest quality for teaching science including two labs which have en suite computers.

Key Stage 3 is completed by the end of Year 8 so students can benefit from 3 years of Keystage 4 science to ensure a good grade.

We are operating a 'passport to learning' club.  This occurs regularly for Year 7 from half term throughout the year.  It is designed for enjoyment in Science and help with science in general.

Students sign up for the sessions of their choice, including Electronics, Hovercraft, Custard Balls and much more!

We have established strong links with our feeder primary and engage in project work with them to ensure a smooth transition for students coming to Etone.
