Sixth Form Building Update
The laying of the first brick of what promises to be a fabulous new facility for Etone College draws ever nearer. Planning Permission was granted for the building in late July and the final arrangements are being made before the digging begins. The £6.1 million development will be designed to the highest sustainable environmental standards and will have the capacity to accommodate 300 students. The state of the art facilities will include Technology studios, Performance Arts suite, cutting edge Business facilities and ICT suites with Media Production capabilities. The project is due to be completed by late November 2010 and be ready to accept students from September 2011.
The artist's impressions (shown above and below) fuels the excitement amongst the staff and students of the College. Watch this space for regular photographic updates of the progress of the project. This facility promises will transform the learning for the young people of Nuneaton giving them a 21st Century building for 21st Century learning.
