- In years 10 and 11 students complete 4 pieces of coursework in either French, German or Spanish. Students will complete coursework for each of the languages they study at GCSE.
- At the end of the 2 year course they will take part in a speaking test lasting between 8-12 minutes, and both a reading and listening test at either Foundation or Higher tier. - Key stage 4 French students study Métro, German students study Logo 4 and Vorsprung and future Spanish students will study Listos!. Students who study 2 languages will take examinations in both.
- Standards of behaviour, attainment and teacher expectations are high in MFL. Our key stage 4 results for 2005 were:
- 74% A*-C in German
- 31% A*-C in French
